CHICANE THEORY is a guitar-driven midwest indie rock outfit based in Minneapolis, MN.
Initially formed by Nicholas Roesler (vocals, guitars, bass) sometime around 2007, the group has played 30+ venues/event spaces around the Twin Cities, Midwest, Canada and released the Lose Track of Time EP in 2008. The EP saw some success via broadcast by a couple hundred radio stations across the US (with the help of Tinderbox Music) and TV networks also took notice, selecting a few of the songs for their song catalog. Chicane Theory plays live shows that range from a full electric guitar-bass-drums line-up, acoustic duo, or solo. After a hiatus, Nick took a batch of songs and went to Flowers Studio to track drums with Peter Anderson (drums) in two sessions. Casey Virock also added guitars and vocals to a few tracks in Nick’s home studio. The new album, Things Look Up Again, was manufactured by Copycats Media, Minneapolis, MN. Official release May 7, 2013!
